The African American Community Service Agency (AACSA) is excited to kick off its Senior Citizens Connected Program eight-week program, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and City of San Jose Councilmember Carl Salas, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at AACSA! Senior Citizens Connected Program is designed to foster the senior community connections, enhance technology skills, eat wholesome meals, engage in interactive games, and participate in activities promoting health, wellness, and meaningful engagement. his Saturday, the African American Community Service Agency (AACSA) is proud to host Open Library, featuring Superintendent Dr. David M. Toston, Sr.! Dr. Toston is a seasoned educational leader dedicated to transforming systems for underserved students. With experience in administration, policy, and the classroom—including leadership in special education and strategic statewide initiatives—he is helping guide the Santa Clara County Office of Education toward a future where educators are empowered with the tools, support, and leadership they need to help every student succeed. Following Open Library, AACSA will host Kinder Readiness, a workshop designed to equip families with information and resources to ensure a smooth transition into school. The event will also include resources promoting health and wellness, including obesity and diabetes awareness. Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm
